They're back! Zij zijn terug!

Yes (Ja) , they're home and I'm back at the keyboard.

Here are some paintings and sketches of the French vacation. (Hier zijn wat schilderijen en schetsen van de vakantie in Frankrijk) . These paintings/sketches were created by our "mom" in her large Moleskine sketchbook and some on Fabriano watercolor paper (coldpressed). Each image was done with Talens gouache and/or Sakura Micron ink pens ... all done from life.

This particular Moleskine sketchbook is now dedicated to their vacations in France ... next time it's Paris in January 2007! You'll have to wait a bit, but in the meantime - Vive la France!

We're very happy to have "our humans" home again. (Wij zijn erg blij - we are very happy.) . Although they tell us that two weeks in France is not enough, so they're already planning their trip back to the Somme region which they particularly loved.

They keep talking about some present (cadeau) they brought back for us, but they haven't given it to us yet. We have no idea what it might be??? ( Wij hebben geen idee.) Unfortunately, we were bad kitties (slechte katten) while they were away - well according to "the humans" we were bad. I caught a big bird (Ik heb een vogel gevangen) and Sacha actually caught a fish! (Sacha heeft een vis gevangen) . Sacha caught the fish out of the little canal that runs behind our house! Unbelievable (Ongelofelijk!) We were pretty proud of our hunting abilities, afterall, we were just being "cats". Anyway, we're on our best behaviour now and we hope to get our present real soon.

I bet it's SALMON!! (Ik wed dat het zalm is).
