We, and our humans, are amazed by the weather this year. Here it is almost the middle of March and we have snow! We don't have daffodils (narcis) or crocus ( krokus), no we have snow, and if not snow then rain, and rain, and more rain. This is the Netherlands, land of pretty flowers, so we were told. We're rethinking our appointment as Ambassadors to Utrecht.We're getting really bored! Nothing to do but sleep and eat, and sleep some more, and the occasional raid on the trash bin in the kitchen (keuken). As you can see here, Finn is most accomplished at sleeping.
Two days ago the snow melted and the rain started. Suddenly something interesting in the achtertuin ( back garden) catches Sacha's eyes....
To both our amazement, look who shows up in the back garden to taunt us! Echt vervelend (very annoying) when you can't go outside!
Of course today, it is snowing again ...
So sleep we shall, and dreams of lekkere eend (delicious duck) will have to do for now. If wishes were ducks, we'd be full!
