Well, hmmm, August has turned out to be one strange month! I know I said I'd post sketches from the new "Vacations in France, volume 2" sketchbook(s), but life just sort of threw some curve balls my way this month ... loads of personal health issues to deal with, among other things. I hope I can get to feeling "normal" again and post those sketchbook pages next month... we'll see.
So, the sketch above is just something to sweeten up things a bit... I like to imagine that. I did this as a pre-lim idea for a piece to be done in possibly egg-tempera ... don't know yet, still thinking about it. The sketch was done with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolors colored pencils and is in my HandBook sketchbook where I work out all my ideas for larger more complete works.
That's all for now... with luck and perseverance I'll get to posting and feeling better *fingers crossed* next month.
