Koninginnedag! (Queen's Day)

Koninginnedag 2009 -The day that will not soon be forgotten.
How sad and how senseless was the act of one crazy person, which put a black spot on the day's celebrations forever.

My heartfelt condolences to the friends and family members of the 7 innocent people who were killed April 30th.

Edit to add: The perpetrator of this terrible attack also died - raising the total deaths to 8, though I can't say he was "innocent".

Just a lil something for Easter...

For the eggs drawing, I used Black Stonehenge paper with Prismacolors, Faber-Castell Polychromos, Derwent Coloursofts, Lyra Rembrandts, and some Caran d'Ache Pablos regular colored pencils ... can't remember which, but I know I used them all.
