About the pic above:
I've been going through the photos from the trip and I'm processing some of them in black & white. I'm liking the images better in black & white, rather than the original color versions. Seems to me, the feeling of the moment is sometimes better expressed without all that color getting in the way - but then, I've always been partial to good black & white photography. In my past at art college, I spent many an hour in a traditional darkroom processing rolls & rolls of analog/traditional film and developing black & white prints, which I loved to do - it's great to be able to do this now with digital imagry with no smell of hypo!!
On the recommendation of a good friend of mine (thank you friend , you know who you are), I've been using the digital editing program, DxO Optics Pro - developed by DxO Image Science . It's a marvelous program - so says "moi"! :o))
doei,
Judy

Welcome home!
Can't wait to see your photos and scans of sketches.
I agree that B&W most definitely has its place. I even have one filter program for PS5 that can give me TriX and PlusX and all those oldies but goodies!
Hi Patty! :o)
Thanks for the welcome home.
I used to shoot a lot of TriX and printed on Agfa paper :o))) Been thinking of getting an add-on program for DxO that has a lot of those old film filters too.
