If I do use this particular candy as a model, I'll probably add more pieces of it in the final image - one seems so lonely. Unless, of course, I make it "monumental". :o)
Or, maybe I'll paint something like this one, with more candies in various colors. This drawing is in one of my sketchbooks ....

The egg tempera will take me forever to complete, as the process is notoriously slow, but I've had this idea in my head for some time now and want to get started on it (before I die! lol).
Currently, I'm finishing up two large colored pencil floral pieces (which btw, also take me forever to complete), so I'm not sure when I'll get to another "involved" project.
In the mean time, practicing small candy pieces will help me decide which way I want to go - decisions, decisions. Oh, believe it or not, I really don't eat hard candies - I just like the way they look. :o)
