Just something to start off the month of November...and it happens to be colored orange! I seem to be obsessed, lately, with drawing/painting things in this color. Chinese Lantern Plants (Chinese Lampionplant)  are one of my favorite bright orange things this time of year.

I was never aware that I was so attracted to the color orange. I don't really wear orange colored clothing (though a bit does look good with black, which I wear a lot of! lol) and I would never paint a room orange, or have orange colored furnishings. But, I do like orange colored flowers, pumpkins, carrots, tangerines, orange lollipops, orange gumdrops and orange cake/cupcakes ... hmmm. I wonder if living in Holland has anything to do with this attraction to orange? (orange is the Dutch national color and the Dutch Royal Family color).

"Orange" you glad I posted this? heh heh

ha! punny indeed! I too love orange, but never wear it. It is such a HAPPY colour I find. You drawing is beautiful. I really like how it shimmers on the grey!

Ty Meisie!:o) Yeah, I really loved working the orange colors on the gray (grey) paper, and you're right, it sort of shimmered as I was drawing.

Hey Beth!! :o) Yes, I do remember your room with the funky curtains!! lol And didn't you also have an orange mohair sweater that your mother knitted? You use to wear it with a brown skirt , I think. I loved those mohair sweaters of yours and I remember being quite jealous of you! LOL
