Gorgeous!
I love your autumn leaves, just beautiful. And windows - I have a soft spot for windows.

I have a friend looking for chestnut paste (in Canada) - who knew all of the chestnuts were in France!

Nice nail polish! A girl after my own daughters' hearts! Thanks for sharing these, Judy!

Love the peek inside your sketch book, Judith.

Thank you so much Kathryn, Sandra and Patty! :o)

Patty: Yep, the Limousin region is full of chestnut trees (groves of them even). I brought about 2 kilos home, to make 'stuff' with (most will end up in veg. dishes) - didn't have to buy them just picked them off the ground. I love sweet chestnut paste on toast - bought some of that too! LOL

And that nail polish was irrisistable - made by Nivea. :o)

thanks again ladies,
Judy

Hi Jackie,

The pen I'm holding in the pic at the bottom of this post is a Sharpie, clicks open like a regular ball-point pen. A friend in the US sent it to me. I don't normally use Sharpies as they tend to bleed through to the next page. This one didn't for whatever reason, I don't know.

My pens of choice are Sakura Pigma Micron pens - archival inks, waterproof and come in various sizes of point widths. I normaly use .01 & .005 sizes.

For regular colored pencils I use Faber-Castell Polychromos and Caran D'Ache Pablos. Both are oil based cp's and no waxy build up.

For watercolor(aquarelle) pencils, I use Faber-Castell Albrecht Durers and Caran d'Ache Supracolors aquarelle. Sometimes, but not often, I use Royal Talens Van Gogh aquarelle pencils.

But, I mostly use Winsor & Newton Artists' Watercolors (pans & tubes). I don't use their Cotman line - it's lesser grade/quality and makes muddy mixes.

hope that helps.
Judy
